Sentencing set on cocaine-dealing charge



A man recently convicted of dealing in cocaine and seven other charges is set to be sentenced at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 11 in Jennings Circuit Court in Vernon.

A jury found Raymond Ryan Marling, 33, of 4185 S. State Road 7, North Vernon, guilty of the Class B felony charge of dealing in cocaine after a trial conducted by Jennings Circuit Judge Jon W. Webster.

A Class B felony conviction carries a prison sentence of six to 20 years. That trial began Oct. 21 and ended Oct. 24.
