A double play in the fourth inning of Monday’s Little League state tournament game was a turning point for the Seymour 11-year-old all-star baseball team.

Franklin Township had a runner on second base with one out. A ball was hit to the pitcher, and he completed the out at first base. The runner at second base tried to get to third, but he was thrown out to end the inning.

Seymour scored three times in the top of the sixth inning and held on for a 4-3 win.
