The Seymour 12-year old Little League All-Star team began their tourney trek on Thursday evening at Kasting Park and they wasted no time in jumping on Bartholomew County by scoring two first inning runs and never looked back in claiming the 14-0 four-inning win.

Despite playing at home the Seymour 12’s was the visiting team and A.J. Boshears had a one out double. Boshears scored the first run on an Alan Perry double in the top of the first inning. Chandler Reynolds scored Perry from third on a ground out for a 2-0 lead.

In the bottom of the first inning, Perry went 1-2-3 with three straight Bartholomew County strikeouts. Perry pitched 2.2 innings and struck out seven batters. Ty McCory pitched the final 1.1 innings and struck out three.
