Aldi Food Store in Seymour will collect donations of nonperishable food this weekend for Community Provisions of Jackson County.

The food pantry will set up in the parking lot at Aldi for what the agency calls a food drop from 9 a.m. to closing Saturday, said Paul Brock, director of Community Provisions.

“If you wish to donate to ‘Food for the Hungry’ during this holiday season, you can purchase nonperishable food items from Aldi or your favorite store and come to the parking lot at Aldi where we will be set up for a drive-thru drop off,” Brock said. “You don’t even have to get out of your car.”
