  • For me the best part of this year is that I got a new dog. I got my dog in July, right before I started seventh grade. I named her Anabelle. She is almost 5 months old and she is a Stappshire. It was by far the best thing that happened this year simply because I gain a forever friend. I may not get to see her a lot but I still love her. The best part was that I paid for her and I didn’t have to beg my parents to pay for her. She gained a new owner but I gained a new forever friend.

  • For me the best part of this past year is getting to see my family. I don’t get to see them much because they live in Ohio. So, because of summer break, I got to see them more. It takes about four hours to get there, but it’s worth it. I love seeing my aunts, uncles and cousins. We always have so much fun together. Most of my cousins are about my age, maybe a little younger, but we have an amazing time together. My aunts, uncles and grandparents are always so much fun to be around. They love to laugh and joke around. But soon we would have to pack up and leave. Even though we didn’t stay very long, seeing my family was the best part of this year.

  • The best part of this year was when I shot my first deer. It was the best part because I’d been going deer hunting since I was 9 years old. And all that time I spent in the woods and up in the tree stand finally paid off. The deer was a small button buck.
