Seymour church to host webcast of origins debate

Zion Lutheran Church in Seymour invites the public to attend a broadcast of the creation vs. science debate, “Is creation a viable model of origins in today’s modern scientific era?”

The debate, which will take place at the Creation Museum in Kentucky, will be webcast live at 7 p.m. Feb. 4 and shown in the Zion Lutheran Church social room.

The debate will bring Ken Ham, a Christian author and Creation Museum founder, together with Bill Nye, the former host of the popular “Bill Nye the Science Guy” children’s television program and current executive director of the Planetary Society, to discuss and defend their respective premise of how the world was created.
