When Chris Robinson was young, he often went to Shields Park Pool to get on the diving board and go into the water just for the fun of it.

“I liked to get out on the diving board and try new things,” he said.

During his first year at Seymour High School, Robinson was in Dave Boggs’ physical education class. Boggs, who also is the swimming and diving head coach, would take the students to the SHS pool for class.
