Seymour draws with Oldenburg

When the Seymour and Oldenburg Academy girls soccer teams met early in the season, the Twisters were ranked No. 7 in Class A, and the match finished with a 3-3 score.

Those teams met for the second time Saturday morning at Seymour. The Twisters were ranked 15th, and each team scored a goal in the second half, again finishing in a draw, 1-1.

“I was kind of joking with their coach after the game, asking if they want to go to PKs (penalty kicks), and she was all for it, but unfortunately it doesn’t happen like that,” Owls coach Greg Musser said. “It was just two hard teams battling.”
