Seymour’s boys basketball team was forced to play catchup against Scottsburg on Monday night in the Lloyd E. Scott Gymnasium, and the Owls weren’t able to post their first win of the season.

The Warriors scored the first eight points of the game, built their lead fell to 15-3 later in the first quarter and returned home with a 62-38 victory.

Owls coach Kyle Clough said his team wasn’t prepared to battle the Warriors. It was Seymour’s third game in four days.
