A 10-year old Seymour girl died after a van she was riding in crashed and flipped over in Washington County on Sunday.

Sierra Woods was pronounced dead at the scene, Sgt. Jerry Goodin of the Indiana State Police said. Her mother, Misty Woods, 32, was flown to University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky., with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

She was released from the hospital Sunday evening.
