For the first time this season, the Seymour gymnastics team was able to perform for its home crowd Thursday at Gymnastics Lane.

The Owls captured their second win of the season, defeating Shelbyville 101.425-78.225.

“Finally got in the 100s, and that was the goal,” Seymour coach Angie Mellencamp said. “We’ve hit it, and hopefully, we are going to climb up slow. We have some skills we are still working on in practices that haven’t made it to the routines yet. The girls still have a lot of polishing to do.”
