A 65-year-old Seymour man remained at an Indianapolis hospital Monday after being stabbed.
Melvin Cross, a part-time bus driver for Seymour’s bus service, was in good spirits and joking around, his niece, Amanda Hoffman of Bedford, said Monday.
Hoffman said he underwent surgery over the weekend at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis for multiple stab wounds to his chest. A spokesman there said Monday that Cross was in fair condition.
