When you have a lead but give it up because of defensive lapses, it’s important to fight back.
The Seymour Hoosier Hills summer league baseball team found itself in that predicament on Thursday night at home against Jennings County.
Seymour led 6-1 through four innings before giving up eight runs on five hits and two errors in the top of the fifth, but it bounced back with four runs in the bottom half and held Jennings County hitless the rest of the way for a 10-9 win. Seymour is now 6-0 on the summer season.
