Seymour resident retires after 25 years of service



Becky King of Seymour retired from Frontier Communications on Feb. 23 after 25 years and four company mergers/acquisitions.

She began her career with Contel of Indiana as a telephone operator in Seymour in 1987, according to a news release.

In 1989, she transferred to the Repair and Service Center in Greensburg, where she worked as a repair clerk, facility assigner and test board person until Contel was acquired by GTE Telephone in 1991.
