Seymour robbery trial continues in circuit court

The trial of a Scott County man accused of robbery continued Wednesday with opening statements in Jackson Circuit Court.

Richard Green, 56, of Scottsburg was arrested in August 2010 in connection with the holdup of a Seymour bank in early April of that year.

Green is accused of driving the getaway vehicle after a robbery reported at The Peoples Bank, 302 Airport Road, police reported at the time.

He was cha­rged with conspiracy to com­mit ro­b­b­ery.
