The University of Louisville’s 2013 soccer recruiting class is ranked No. 1 in the country, and that includes Seymour High School senior Andrew Bailiff.
Making the college decision was a tough one, Bailiff said. But there were several draws to the NCAA Division I school, and he recently signed his letter of intent to begin playing for the Cardinals in the fall.
“There was just something about Louisville,” he said. “They are a very successful program with a very storied history, and I thought I fit well with their coaching staff and the style of their play very well. I took one visit there. I love the campus. I like the setup of it. Their soccer facilities are phenomenal, and they are getting a brand-new stadium put in next year.”
