Elizabeth Steltenpohl never pictured herself as a college soccer player.

She didn’t start the sport until her freshman year at Seymour High School, and she mostly played junior varsity her first three years.

But the combination of earning a varsity starting spot at sectional her junior year, working hard in the offseason, seeing it pay off her senior year and receiving a letter from Trine University changed her outlook.
