When you talk about consistency in an athlete, a good place to start is Paxton DeHaven of the Seymour girls golf team.

The senior shot 2-under 71 to tie Amanda Detmer of Madison for medalist honors in the Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament on Saturday at Shadowood Golf Course.

Detmer helped the Cubs win the tournament with 333, while Floyd Central was second at 342, Bedford North Lawrence scored 358, Columbus East shot 370 and Seymour tied New Albany for fifth at 377.

This marks the fourth straight year DeHaven has been all-conference, and she tied Detmer for medalist for the second straight season.
