Seymour Police Department and Walgreen Co. will participate in a national drug take back day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26 at Walgreens’ pharmacy at 319 E. Tipton St.
The public may bring expired or unwanted prescription medications to the collection area located near the pharmacy.
The program is a combined effort to remove expired and/or unwanted prescription medications from communities, lowering the potential for abuse and diversion, according to a news release from Capt. Carl Lamb with Seymour Police Department.
