Owls defense fends off late-game surge from New Albany

When the outcome of a sporting event comes down to one play, a lot of times, the phrase “it was a game of inches” comes up. In Thursday’s Seymour-New Albany boys soccer match, it was a game of feet — as in 2 feet.

That is how close New Albany came to tying the Hoosier Hills Conference match at C.B. Hess Memorial Field as time was expiring.
