Seymour soccer team wins fourth straight

Offensive firepower has been the name of the game recently for the Seymour girls soccer team, and on Tuesday night, the Owls dismantled Greensburg 9-1 at C.B. Hess Memorial Field for their fourth straight win.

Seymour outscored Greensburg 8-0 in the first half and added one goal in the second half.

Maile Grout scored four goals for Seymour, and Gabriela Martins had three. Clare Lenart and Brielyn Tidd each had one goal, and Tidd had two assists. Seymour outshot Greensburg 34-11.

On Thursday, Seymour (4-2) will play host to New Albany for a Hoosier Hills Conference clash.
