In the present, Class 4A No. 5 Columbus North’s 71-32 girls basketball win against visiting Seymour on Tuesday was simply a blowout.
With an eye on the future, though, the game represented something more — a couple of teams that appear to be stocked with young, blossoming talent.
Emilee Pollmann led Seymour with 13 points, but her performance was much more than scoring.
