This is an important week for the Seymour girls swimming and diving team.
The Owls have two meets — Tuesday at home against Providence and Thursday with Columbus East — to try to earn a spot on the sectional team, which will compete Feb. 2. They started the week strong with a 148-19 win against Providence.
“We’re experimenting a little bit tonight, trying to have a little fun tonight, too,” Owls coach Dave Boggs said. “This is our Tuesday night right after the girls conference, ... and we’re tired from training. So we’re going to adjust our workouts a little bit the next couple days.”
Forming the sectional team began Saturday and will continue through this week.
