Seymour High School senior wrestler Richard Rohde said he has learned not to overlook any opponent.

Even if he pinned an opponent in 30 seconds earlier in the season, he said it’s important to be mentally and physically ready for every wrestling match.

“I like that a lot of the competition is pretty upbeat,” he said. “It’s like a full-out sprint for six minutes. You have to work as hard as you can or you’re not going to get it. A lot of times in wrestling, it’s just about if this guy is going to work harder than you are.”
