Seymour junior Tristan Sitterding was trailing Southwestern’s Noah Schuster 5-3 with less than a minute left in the second period of their 182-pound match Tuesday night when his coaches and teammates encouraged him to be aggressive and attack his opponent.

Sitterding did that by charging Schuster and putting him on his back for a pin in 3:30.

The Owls also came up with three other pins and one decision and took advantage of three forfeits to defeat the Rebels 45-27 in their home opener in the Lloyd E. Scott Gymnasium.
