Following a successful basketball career at Seymour High School, Kristin Turner moved on to the NCAA Division I level and played at Oakland University in Michigan.
After one season there, she decided to switch to the University of Indianapolis and play at the Division II level.
Turner is now in her third and final season playing for the Greyhounds, and she recently accomplished something she didn’t think she would in only two and a half years. In a 70-69 loss at the University of Southern Indiana on Jan. 19, Turner became the 19th Greyhound woman to reach 1,000 career points and only the seventh to do so in three seasons or less.
