Shootout set for Friday at Seymour gyms



The Seymour High School boys basketball program is hosting a shootout Friday at the middle and high school gymnasiums.

Varsity games will be played in the main gym at Seymour High School. The first game is at 9 a.m., and the last one starts at 3 p.m. Seymour plays Jac-Cen-Del at 9 a.m., Batesville at 11 a.m. and South Ripley at noon on Court 1 and Rising Sun at 3 p.m. on Court 2. Other teams participating are Switzerland County and Jennings County.

Junior varsity games will be played in the auxiliary gym at Seymour High School. The first game is at 9 a.m., and the last one is at 4 p.m. Seymour plays Jennings County at 9 a.m., Batesville at 11 a.m., Rising Sun at 1 p.m. and Jac-Cen-Del at 3 p.m. on Court 1. Other teams are Silver Creek, South Ripley and Martinsville.

Freshman games will be played in the gyms at Seymour Middle School. The first game is at 9 a.m., and the last one is at 2 p.m. Seymour plays Jac-Cen-Del at 10 a.m., Jennings County at 11 a.m. and Rising Sun at 2 p.m. in Gym 602 and Silver Creek at 1 p.m. in Gym 601, while Seymour B plays Silver Creek at 10 a.m., Rising Sun at 11 a.m. and Jennings County at 2 p.m. in Gym 601 and Jac-Cen-Del at 1 p.m. in Gym 602.

Admission is $5. Concessions will be available.
