Motorists should watch for changing traffic patterns on State Road 3 north of the State Road 3 and State Road 7 split.

Because of low cross-traffic volumes, Indiana Department of Transportation crews anticipate removing the State Road 3 traffic signal at the former North Vernon Walmart site today.

Flaggers will restrict State Road 3 to one lane while signal crews work in the area, and motorists should expect short delays.

When completed, stop signs will be installed for traffic at the commercial access drives, while State Road 3 will be free-flowing.
