Significant flooding expected from warmup, melting snow

Jackson County remains under a flood warning with the East Fork White River.

The river level should crest at 16.5 feet Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Flood stage at Seymour is 12 feet.

Severe flooding is possible along some Hoosier rivers in central and southern counties in the next several days, although flood levels are not expected to exceed those seen late last year on the East Fork White River.
