Seymour Skate Park Association is starting off the new year by ramping up efforts to build the next phase of the city’s new skate park.

A meeting to discuss and plan fundraising ideas for the expansion of the Schurman and Grubb Memorial Skate Park will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

“Participants need to bring fundraising ideas and a willingness to work toward a common goal,” said Matt Nicholson, owner of B2 Bikes and Boards in Seymour.
