Indiana State Police and Jackson County Sheriff's Department are investigating a number of wrecks all along Interstate 65 and along U.S. 50 in western Jackson County.
Snow began falling across the area Thursday morning and became heavier around 10 a.m.
That's when a number of wreck reports started coming in, Sheriff Mike Carothers said.
"We have a number in the knobs area on U.S. 50 west of the Medora junction and all along I-65," Carothers said.
He advised motorists to slow down because of the slick conditions.
So far no serious injuries had been reported.
