Wherever Zoe Williams went on the softball field, Macy Hall was there.

Hall, who will be a junior at Seymour High School in the fall, guided Williams through the fundamentals in this week’s Seymour softball camp for girls going into kindergarten through sixth grade.

“I feel like if we help them and give back to what we do, then they are going to come in thinking if we all help each other, then we’re all going to become good in the end,” Hall said. “We all need that.”

The girls who attended camp got plenty of individual attention from the high school players.

“It’s good because, you think about it, you were little at one time and you used to do those things and how funny you used to be,” Hall said.
