Solid waste board to meet Thursday night

The board of the Jackson County Solid Waste Management District plans to conduct a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the district office, 1220 Bloomington Road, Brownstown.

Agenda items include board adoption of the 2013 budget and a proposed inter-local agreement concerning a composting proposal.

Other items on the agenda include a legislative update and school recycling.
