Owls improve to 2-0 in HHC


Seymour’s girls soccer team scored two goals within the first 15 minutes of Thursday’s Hoosier Hills Conference match, led 4-2 at halftime and went on to win 6-4.

Clare Lenart had a hat trick and two assists for the Owls (5-1-1, 2-0 HHC), while Elizabeth Steltenpohl scored twice, Devon Joray had a goal and an assist and Brielyn Tidd had an assist.

The Owls outshot the Bulldogs 21-13, and Seymour goalkeeper Kelley Sharp made six saves.
