State replaces GED test with comprehensive exam



Susan Bowers earned her general education development diploma in September, just months before the test used for that purpose was changed by the state.

New Year’s Day marked the rollout of the new Indiana high school equivalency test, which is called the Test Assessing Secondary Completion.

In the past, GED Testing Service produced the test, but the new test will be based on the completion of a comprehensive test developed by CTB/McGraw-Hill.
