State schools chief visits Crothersville

Extreme cold this week prompted State Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz to offer Hoosier schools waivers from making up missed classes.

Schools — and their students — shouldn’t expect any additional waivers, however.

Ritz visited Crothersville Elementary School on Friday afternoon to tour and take a peek into classrooms using modern technology, including iPads and Promethean boards.
