Tribune staff reports

This year’s Leadership Jackson County class recently partnered with the local Child Care Network to provide a literacy and language skills lesson and related seasonal activities with morning and afternoon family preschool classes at Seymour-Jackson Elementary School.

The preschool classes are facilitated through an initiative the local Child Care Network program developed several years ago.

Leadership Jackson County class members were paired with students and planned their activities around the book, “The Mitten” by Jan Brett.
