The woman given the most credit for making the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis a success plans a trip to Seymour on Wednesday.

That’s when Allison Melangton, often called the Super Woman of the Super Bowl because she was the head of the host committee for Super Bowl XLVI, will serve as featured speaker for the fourth annual Jackson County Women’s Conference. The daylong event will be at The Pines Evergreen Room.

Melangton is president and chief executive officer of the Indiana Sports Corp. and served on the organization’s staff from 1994 through 2008.
