Seymour Education Association will host a meet-and-greet reception for state school superintendent candidate Glenda Ritz on Wednesday.

The event will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Community Foundation of Jackson County at Community Drive and Second Street in Seymour.

The forum is open to the public.

Ritz is a Democrat. Her opponent in the Nov. 6 general election is incumbent Republican Tony Bennett.
