Ask any librarian: Most people today are reading fewer books in hard copy and have begun gravitating more to ebooks for their ereaders or computers.
Most libraries, in turn, have begun evolving to continue to serving people by offering ebooks and other online services. Some publishers, however, apparently aren’t playing along.
“I think it’s very bad,” Becky Brewer said. Brewer is with information services at Jackson County Public Library in Seymour.
Brewer said the library has been moving toward more online services including working with social media for a long time. Even though this has brought a lot of changes to the look and feel of library services, she said the services are all the same.
