Twenty-five years ago, Paul Narsinghani was in the dress clothes business, selling suits in a shop in Jackson Park Shopping Center.

When business started to tumble, he got an idea. Narsinghani decided to make a turn and dive into trendy retail.

Starting in malls, he opened businesses that sold band memorabilia. He said it started with a few bands, but as more people came in they began to ask for more bands, so Narsinghani expanded his line to be able to provide more for his customers.

“It’s very different,” Narsinghani said about the different businesses. “You have to get educated on the bands and other products.”
