Thaw, rain raise flooding risk in county

Melting snow and rain in the forecast this week pose a threat of flooding in central and southern Indiana.

None of that will be good for county roads in low areas, which already are suffering from a bitterly cold and wet winter.

Jackson County Commissioner Jerry Hounshel said flooding of low areas could further damage roads.
