Theta Omega meets at Seymour for work night

Theta Omega, Phi Beta Psi sorority recently met at the Community Foundation of Jackson County in Seymour for a state convention work night.

Members assembled convention folders, stuffed bags, finished cornucopias, and painted signs and pumpkins. Cori Vaughn, Mary Ann Otte and Becky Andres served refreshments.

Janet Cooper distributed tickets for Basket Bingo, which will be Nov. 13 at the American Legion Annex in Seymour. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $15 with all proceeds going to the chapter’s national project, cancer research. The event will feature Longaberger baskets, pottery and gift cards.

The next social and business meeting will be combined at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at the American Legion Annex. Members are asked to bring auction gifts and door prizes for the bingo.

The Bingo Committee consists of Becky Anderson and Cooper, co-chairwomen, along with Vaughn, Otte, Jessica Sons, Doris Baurle and Misty Wischmeier.
