Three county students earn Ball State degrees

Three Jackson County residents graduated from Ball State University in Muncie after the summer session.

Those graduates were Amanda Wayman of Medora, who received a master’s degree in education; Devann Maxie of Seymour, who received a bachelor’s and graduated cum laude; and Laura Kirtman of Seymour, who received a specialist degree in education.

Three Jackson County students also were named to the dean’s list after the summer session — Victoria Disque of Brownstown and Cameron Butler and Benjamin Voss, both of Seymour.

The dean’s list recognizes undergraduates who earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for six or more credits of graded course work during a summer term.
