CROTHERSVILLE

A spring season didn’t go by without Jarrod Royalty staying busy.

For the past four years at Crothersville High School, he split time between track and field and baseball.

“There is never a boring time,” he said. “I’m always doing something — traveling or staying at home and heading right back up to the school for a sporting event. It gets stressful sometimes, but I enjoy it. It gives me something to work for. It gets my mind off the books and everything when I can.”

In baseball, he pitched and played second base and shortstop.
