Crothersville’s girls basketball team was outscored 23-7 in the first quarter Thursday night at Austin and couldn’t recover in losing 71-47.
The Tigers pulled within 12 points in the third quarter and forced an Austin timeout. But they committed costly turnovers that prevented a comeback.
Katrina Christian was the only Crothersville (6-10) player scoring in double figures, leading the way with 17 points. She also had a team-high nine rebounds.
