In Crothersville’s first volleyball match since Oct. 1, the Tigers came out swinging.
On Thursday at Austin, the Tigers rolled to a 25-13, 25-12, 25-14 victory.
Chandler Nehrt led in hitting, going 29 of 31 with 17 kills, and Whitney Wienhorst was 17 of 20 with 10 kills.
In serving, Wienhorst was 14 of 14 with a team-high five aces, and Jessica Schmelzle was 21 of 22 with three aces.
Schmelzle had 35 assists, and Wienhorst had nine blocks.
The Tigers will take a 16-7 record into Monday’s regular-season finale at South Decatur.
