Crothersville's boys basketball team picked up its defensive pressure in the third quarter of Friday's home game against Shawe Memorial.
That helped the Tigers turn a 24-19 halftime lead into a 65-47 victory.
Crothersville forced Shawe into 29 turnovers, including nine in the third quarter. The Tigers outscored the visitors 20-8 in the third quarter.
Grayson Barnes led Crothersville (2-4) with a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds, while Gene Hodge also had a double-double with 11 points and 10 steals. The Tigers' other double-figure scorer was Dakota Mount with 10 points, and he also had five steals.
