CROTHERSVILLE

Crothersville opened up a 12-7 lead after the first quarter Friday against Trinity Lutheran, and the Tigers led all the way for a 57-50 win.

Tigers coach Greg Kilgore was pleased with his team’s start, while Cougars coach Aaron Rudzinski said his team was not mentally prepared for the start of the game.

“Crothersville played a great game,” Rudzinski said. “I think they wanted it way more than we did, and they were ready to play, and we weren’t.”
