Tigers get mixed results in Charlestown

After suffering an 8-1 loss to Class 3A No. 6 Charlestown in Saturday’s Charlestown Invitational, Crothersville blasted Austin 12-4 to capture its first win of the season.

Crothersville scored seven runs in the bottom of the second inning to take the lead for good against Austin. Sam Spall had a single, a double, a triple and three runs in the win. Mackenzie Farmer picked up the win in the circle.
